This is absolutely gorgeous!
Made from Michael’s brand black paper bags, chipboard covers and bound with burlap. The colors and embellishments are very Victorian in look and feel.
Take a peek at the detail on the spine. Eyelets and ribbon really make it pretty. The silk flowers were hand painted to match the color of the papers. Pretty cool!
Gorgeous embossing on the papers and gilded images with gold paint. Very nice. Beads and charms are throughout the pages and some very clever tags were made, and some adorable envelopes for tucking in photos or journaling.
At 12:23 there is an embellishment that looks like an old mirror. Too cute!
She gives you the names of the supplies that she used for this. But you could just go with a color theme and mix and match what you have and take with you to the craft store. The cool thing is, you can always decoupage or paint whatever embellishments you have so they match.
